"Moolana Yakama" festival

I will be playing a blessing song or two and telling a story at this event.

"Moolana Yakama" - Art in celebration of the living spirit, is a gathering of artists, Indigenous Elders and performers

who have dedicated their lives and art work to sharing and cultivating oneness of the human heart and spirit.

It is our hope that you will be able to join us for this special day.

On offer is a feast of visual and performing arts from indigenous and non-indigenous artists from across Australia and overseas;

including paintings, sculpture, prints, jewellery, artist print t-shirts, live music, short film screenings, storytelling, marionette puppets, guest speakers and more.

The event will be opened with an indigenous acknowledgement of country and smoking ceremony.

ABC Open – Blogger of the week

This week i have been asked to be ABC blogger of the week. I shared my 'stroke of luck' story as I wanted to reach as many people with this as possible, in a hope that my journey can help others in their journey.

I also want to say, that whilst i was in hospital, I could feel the love and prayers I was being sent, viscerally. This is a major reason that I made it through, Prayer and love is so real and I felt it protected me whilst I was healing. So if we know of anyone that is having a hard time, know that sending love and a healing can be a truely helpful thing. Blessings!
